  • My friend and I did a walk in. We got seated at the bar within 30 mins wait. La Dong was nicely decorated and the two bartenders Kop and Earth were amazing. Food is amazing. We started with the Carpacio and Pate and Bone. Great starters. Song Cai Jin is great. The Bun Cha Hanoi is very flavorful and Bun Bo Hue is not as but still good. Ended the night with the avocado ice cream and banana cracker - I liked it! Recommend this place!

  • One of my fav viet spots. Everything was pretty good, and the actual restaurant was so pretty - Complimentary shrimp chips: Yummy sauce - Pho Ha Noi: Flavorful broth, and beef was tender. Would get again - Banh xeo: Pretty good, would get again - Sugarcane shrimp: Reminds me of fish cake texture. Wouldn’t get again - Ca chien nuoc mam (whole branzino): 11/10 MUST GET. Would come here just for this omg

  • The place is popular—even on weekday afternoons, not just at lunchtime. The restaurant was packed. I think the food speaks for itself. Almost every table ordered pho, and people looked happy and satisfied. Sugarcane shrimp — As an appetizer, it’s made from shrimp paste shaped into a loaf-like form and skewered on sugarcane. The dish comes with lettuce for wrapping and plum sauce for dipping. The taste is amazing: the sweetness, freshness, and tenderness of the shrimp paste all come together beautifully. Bún Bò Huè - a rice vermicelli dish with slow cooked brisket, pork sausage, pork hock, and blood cake, in a thick and spicy lemongrass broth. The amount of ingredients in this dish is impressive, and the taste is divine. Perfectly flavored and well balanced, it’s great to have during the cold winter months. Coconut Salt Coffee - tasty and refreshing Overall their food is excellent, service also very good, highly recommend to everyone.

  • This restaurant’s decoration is so unique and beautiful. The food is good, some is more fusion rather than authentic but still very good. Highly recommend making a reservation. We got here right before they open for dinner service and there was a long waiting line outside already and luckily I made a reservation so I didn’t need to wait.

  • Had a great dinner. Came when they opened at 4:30 and had a pretty long line already. We made reservations so we were seatee right away. I would def recommend making reservations or come early. The apps were great, loved the bone marrow and pate with the Vietnamese baguette. Cha gio egg rolls were one of the best I've tried. The Hanoi pho was also amazing, esp in December with the cold weather. Service was very good as well. I would come back again to try different items.

  • Had the chance to try some pho, and it was delicious. I went during lunch time and had the Pho Ha Noi with Jasmine rice. I would definitely have it again as the dish was comforting. The Pho Vegetable was also very tasty as the veggies were cooked to perfection, not too soft nor too hard to chew. The Vietnamese coffee was super creamy and still had a strong coffee taste(sooo good). The servers were very polite. Would def recommend

  • This restaurant is worth the hype. I got the chance to try one of the best phở bowl in NYC. The broth had all the right flavor of northern vietnam pho; sweet, savory, and I appreciate that it was not a cloudy broth. It is not traditional to add fried shallots but I like the novelty. The brisket and chuck eye were the right thickness and tenderness. Short beef curry also stood out to me due to its curry flavor profile and the slow cooked ribs. The meat was extremely tender, fell right off the bone. The curry was creamy, great for bread or rice. Bánh xèo was super crunchy on the exterior, the dip sauce was tangy, salty, and sweet. I think they should add more filling to make it even better. Classic bánh mì was good. I like how the bread was thin yet crunchy, just how a bánh mì supposed to be. If I would change anything, it would be leaving out the lettuce, which i can live without, and putting in pickled radish. The space is beautiful, seats are quite close to one another. I like how the space is broken up into several areas and nooks with different decors. Staffs are friendly. Service waa quick when I went even though it was crowded. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking for good vietnamese food.

  • This place is such a solid neighborhood spot. Everything we ordered was thoughtfully done and full of flavor. The Pate and Bone was a great starter. The chicken liver mousse was smooth and rich, and the bone marrow with toasted baguette made it extra indulgent without being too heavy. I really loved the Pomelo Salad. It was fresh and bright, with grilled shrimp and a nice balance of citrus, herbs, and a slightly spicy tamarind dressing. Super refreshing, especially with the crispy rice cracker. The Wagyu Pho was excellent. The broth was fragrant and well seasoned, and the wagyu was incredibly tender and comforting. We finished with the avocado coconut ice cream, which was light, creamy, and not overly sweet. The crispy sliced banana a really nice texture. Comfortable, well-executed food. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
